My journey started in healthcare where I found myself on the frontlines of a worldwide pandemic. This experience granted me insights into life's fragility and the importance of pursuing one's dreams.

A serendipitous turn led me to a nonprofit horse farm in Maine, Manes and Tails, reigniting my childhood dream of becoming an equestrian. I soon became a board member of this nonprofit, where I learned about managing a herd of 70+ horses, contributing to rare breed conservation, and fostering connections with these majestic animals.

STRAY JAY.

HEY, I'm

Atticus, my Bernese Mountain Dog, is often found right at my side. He and my adopted little black cat, Bingo, are my travel companions on many of my adventures.

Now, through Stray Jay Photography, I weave narratives of connection, resilience, and the untold beauty found in life's uncharted paths.

My passion lies in collaborating with brands and organizations that embody the true spirit of horsemanship and adventure.

I am excited about the opportunity to work with brands that share a genuine passion for equestrianism, adventure, and living a unique way of life.

Join me on this captivating journey as we explore, capture, and share the extraordinary moments that unfold when hearts connect, spirits roam freely, and nature reveals its profound beauty.

Hey there! I'm Jaylyn Tarzian, a Respiratory Therapist turned equestrian enthusiast and the creative force behind Stray Jay Photography.
